Alcohol is like the grease on the wheels to make things slip. People think that judgement calls you’d make when sober tend to fall at ease when drinking alcohol. This is how the term ‘beer goggles’ was coined. A study showed how drinking enables both men and women to become more amicable, less critical, and open. The question of sexuality was not tagged in this study because alcohol didn’t derange the moral compass. Ladies, this effect seems to be more prevalent in your house. Beer goggles make you into the fun-loving creature you always wanted to be in nature. The moral of the study story says it’s all about dropping inhibitions, not inviting the questionable neighbor over for a night cap. This is not an endorsement to drink your inhibitions away. This is just the science behind ‘beer goggles’.
